Tennessee transfer guard Chris Darrington went No. 1 overall in the Pilot Rocky Top League draft held Wednesday night.
Five of the first six picks were Vols, with Jordan Bowden going second, Admiral Schofield third, Grant Williams fifth and Jordan Bone sixth.
The league begins Monday with three games — 6, 7:30 and 9 p.m. — at Knoxville Catholic High School. Admission is free.
Tennesee guard James Daniel III, a graduate transfer from Howard, is out for the three-week summer league as he continues to return from the ankle injury forced him to miss all but two games of his senior season.
Also out for the Vols will be guard Lamonte Turner and forward John Fulkerson. Turner had offsesaon shoulder surgery and, barring setbacks, is out until the end of the summer. Fulkerson underwent surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder and is out indefinitely, according to Tennessee.

University who transferred to Tennessee this spring, will be summer league teammates with fellow newcomer Derrick Walker, a 6-foot-7 power forward from Kansas City, Mo., on the Tillman Companies team. Former Vol Bobby Maze is also on the Tillman roster.
Schofield will play alongside walk-on Lucas Campbell on the Garza Law Firm team. Jordan Bowden and Jalen Johnson will be teammates on DeRoyal Industries while Kyle Alexander and Jacob Fleschman, another walk-on, will play for the Knoxville News Sentinel team.
